The Aerospace Dimensions Supplemental Space Module discusses current space information and is designed to be a supplement to the fifth and sixth modules of Aerospace Dimensions. This module provides the reader with an up-to-date look at some intriguing topics that are very relevant in today’s discussions of space. The module is divided into five chapters covering five main topics.

Satellites and Satellite Tool Kit (STK)

This chapter defines an orbit and describes some of the different orbits. This chapter goes into detail concerning the Hubble Telescope and its orbit. Also, this chapter discusses Satellite Tool Kit technology and some exercises that demonstrate some of its capacities.

International Space Station (ISS)

This chapter states the purpose of the ISS and describes the living conditions aboard the ISS. This chapter also talks about the current status of the ISS and its expected completion date. The chapter identifies some of the uses of the ISS and explains some of the research that is being conducted.

Mars

Mars is currently a very hot space topic. This chapter will state some facts about Mars and discuss why scientists are so interested in Mars.
